USA (Underwater Shock Analysis) code treats the fluid-structureinteraction of marine structures exposed to impulsive loads such asunderwater shock of impact due to collision. It is coupled to a numberof finite element structural analysis codes such as NASTRAN, DYNA, andSTAGS, for both linear and nonlinear structural response for the purposeof designing marine structures to withstand such types of loadingconditions to some degree. Fluid cavitation is also treated.
